This video was about html. It explaines the basic set-up of html and what each code means. After he explaines the simple stuff he started to explain the more complicated things. He taught us how to do a title and how to do a body. He also taught us were to put things like your paragraphs and how to make words bold text. I thought this video was very good. Someone could learn alot from it.

25 days of Christmas

25 Days of christmas is about a 10-year-old girl that is doing something good each day for 25 days until christmas. She has done things like shovel driveways for her neighbors and make christmas cards for the troops. Her mom and her made a website and are writing each day about the good things she did.

Missing Boy

Today i read a e-mail about a boy named Evan Trembley who was missing. He had been missing for 2 weeks and it happened in Canada. People can't find him and they hope the internet will help bring him home. His mother wrote this e-mail about him. It is very sad and i feel bad for all him loved ones.

After reading this i had a couple questions. On what day did he go missing and what were the details about it. What clothing did he have on and was he stolen or did he run away? I was curious and so i went on google and typed in his name. A website came up about how it was fake so i clicked on it. it ends up it is fake and the kid how was "missing" made it up. I think this is a horrible thing to do and it makes me sad for all the people who were worried about him.

I found all this information upsetting. The world is changing so much that its scarry. For example 70% of 4 year olds have used a computer. Also the number of text messages exced the world population.

the next video i watched was about myspace. it said how people who are hiring are looking at myspace to see what the person is like. If they have bad stuff on their profile they won't hire them.

I think that this is a good idea. if you have a myspace you should only allow your friends to see your profile. It will teach kids to keep things private.

The next video i watched was about not saying mean stuff. If you would not say it in person than don't say it to someone on-line. its not good and people still can find out that you said mean things.

I thought this video was sad. I feel bad for the people that this happens too. People should never say stuff like that. People should also never put stuff like that on the web.

This video made me scared. Even creeps on the internet can see the pictures. It scares me how quickly the pictures spread. I would never do that.

This video was about not posting pictures of yourself that you would not want the whole world to see. Once you put a picture on the web you can't take it of. Family and friends can see them. But people who you don't know can also see them.

Globalization

Today we learned how the world becomes smaller with cell phones and things like that. Its easier to contact people who live far away and you never see. In the tennis world, there are many players that don't live in the United States. During the U.S. open many of them played even though there from different countries. In the early 1900's people would not have been able to dso this because the world seemed so small because of the lack of ways to comunicate.
